this movie is one of my favorites, and I love this one pure moment of shutting Napoleon Solo down for thinking he was charming enough, sly enough, to practically walk right out of his duty as a spy. Sanders is intelligent; he’s been watching Napoleon work and he doesn’t have a care about it. Solo’s the prisoner (literally and metaphorically); Sanders is the warden. also, in my life most people underestimate my perceptiveness, and sometimes I have to use this to say that i stay quiet about certain things out of consideration.

all of us try to define the meaning of life. with this i think life is the offspring of the universe being born, and we are supposed to become what makes us feel good because that is what balances the universe.

this whole movie is pretty damn amazing. but this one quote always sticks in my head. because we white people need to be corrected like this all the time to try to discontinue racism in all forms and have to learn where we’ve incidentally gone too far or are contradicting each other indirectly, creating frustration and angst. or if we’re being plain racist and not realizing the effect it has on the victim.
